A links-style course carved through pine and dune above the Atlantic, just west of Lisbon.
Designed by American architect Arthur Hills and opened in 2001, Oitavos Dunes sits within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, weaving through umbrella pines and coastal dunes with the Atlantic visible from several holes.
It's widely regarded as one of the finest courses on the Lisbon coast and a highlight for golfers travelling the Portugal itinerary before heading south to the Algarve.
