The Links at Fancourt
A Gary Player design built to host a Presidents Cup, framed by the Outeniqua Mountains.
Designed by Gary Player and Phil Jacobs and built on reclaimed wetland, The Links at Fancourt was purpose-built to host the 2003 Presidents Cup, which it staged in front of the Outeniqua Mountains near George on South Africa's Garden Route.
Its open, wind-exposed layout and firm, fast-running fairways give it a genuine links character despite sitting well inland from the coast.
Opened 2000. The Links hosted the 2003 Presidents Cup, one of the few times the event has been played outside the United States.
