Carya Golf Club (part of National Golf Club) is Turkey's first classic heathland-style course, built on undulating sand hills and inspired by the famous Surrey heathland courses in England — a distinctive contrast to Belek's more typical parkland-style resort courses.
It was also the first course in Europe with all 18 holes under floodlights, and has hosted the Turkish Airlines Open on the European Tour.
Opened 2011. Carya has hosted the Turkish Airlines Open, one of the European Tour's marquee autumn events.
